Who doesn’t love pancakes? I mean really…
There’s no doubt pancakes are a staple North American breakfast food but we don’t like to limit ourselves to this sort of conventional stereotype. Pancakes are great literally anytime, any day!
Seeing as it’s ‘Pancake Tuesday’ we wanted to take the opportunity to share our favourite pancake receipt with you. Give this recipe a try using your Fuzion TX 2000 kitchen scale for easy, seamless measuring and preparation!
The Perfect Fluffy Pancakes
120g – all purpose flour
25g – granulated sugar
10g – baking soda
5g – salt
25g – melted butter or vegetable oil
225g – milk
1 egg, well-beaten
Start by measuring out and combining your dry ingredients in the Fuzion TX 2000 bowl.
Add the egg, milk and oil and mix gently using a fork or whisk. Be cautious not to over mix!
Pre-heat your large frying pan or griddle to medium heat.
Using a ladle or large spoon, portion your pancakes leaving 1-2” of space between each scoop.
Cook for 2-3 minutes until battery turns bubbly, then flip!
Let pancakes cook for another 2 minutes or until other side is brown & crispy.
Top with fresh fruit & maple syrup or your chocolate chips and peanut butter for a nutty twist!
